Dream Big

Image
The Motto of our school for the last 4 years that I have been teaching there is Dream Big. No idea is to big to bring to the table to be discussed. It has been the most amazing teaching experience ever. I have already started implementing some of the ideas before reading this book on my own just with what I know is Developmentally Appropriate for 4 year olds. So it has been really cool to find out how much I have already changed and the direction I need to go from here. I want to learn more about the Project Approach that is used. The new curriculum I get to try next s...

Funds for Teachers

I am soooooo excited! I get to go to Boulder, Colorado to see the Journey School which is closely tied to the Reggio Emilia, Italy school! I can not wait to get fresh ideas to implement into my pre-k classroom.  Fund for Teachers gave a grant for 6 of us to go (maybe 8?) and I was asked if I wanted to go - of course the answer was YES!  More to come as time gets closer....
